Remember, the method is basically the same for all Ovi Music Unlimited devices like the 5800, 5530 and future compatible devices.

The Nokia 5130 XpressMusic is another device that supports the Ovi Music Unlimited service. And here’s how to get it set up.

First up, you’ll need to purchase one of the new Ovi Music Unlimited Compatible Nokia 5130 devices. That is easily identifiable by the Ovi Music Unlimited branding on the Retail Package.

When you check your retail package contents, you’ll find a Quick start guide on Ovi Music Unlimited and a Voucher.

At that point, what you have to do is similar to setting up Ovi Music Unlimited on the Nokia X6.

The first thing you should do, is connect your Nokia 5130 to your PC and download and run the Ovi Music Player. Once you run it, it should detect your 5130 and allow you to activate Ovi Music Unlimited from the main screen, as shown in the screenshot above. Once you click on “Activate Now” it will take you to the setup process for Ovi Music Unlimited.

At that point, it will request you to create a new Ovi Music Unlimited account on the Ovi Music Store.

Once you complete that step, you’ll have full access to the Ovi Music Unlimited service on the Ovi Music Store.

You’ll notice that the Ovi Music Unlimited Activation banner disappears and you can now download as much music as you want to!

Similar to setting up Ovi Music Unlimited on the Nokia X6, Setting up OMU on the Nokia 5235 is just as easy and basically exactly the same method.

The first thing you should do, is connect your Nokia 5235 to your PC and download and run the Ovi Music Player. Once you run it, it should detect your 5235 and allow you to activate Ovi Music Unlimited from the main screen, as shown in the screenshot above. Once you click on “Activate Now” it will take you to the setup process for Ovi Music Unlimited.

At that point, it will request you to create a new Ovi Music Unlimited account on the Ovi Music Store.

Once you complete that step, you’ll have full access to the Ovi Music Unlimited service on the Ovi Music Store.

You’ll notice that the Ovi Music Unlimited Activation banner disappears and you can now download as much music as you want to!

Remember, if you have a Nokia X6, you can setup OMU on it too!

Getting started with Ovi Music Unlimited, is as easy as purchasing a compatible device, placing your simcard in it, and switching it on.

Once you switch your device on, you’ll notice it send a text messaging to a service called “MyNokia”.

Dont worry though, this is just to let the service know that you’ve activated an Ovi Music Unlimited Device.

Within a few minutes you should receive an activation code for the Ovi Music Unlimited service.

This code is special to each unique user, so you should not share your code until you have used it up.

Once you get your code, you can connect your Ovi Music Unlimited device to your PC and start up Ovi Music Player, making sure you have an active Internet Connection at the time.

Once Ovi Player loads up, it should load the Ovi Music Store India. Click on the “Activate” button on the left side of the store, under “Ovi Music Unlimited”.

The app will then detect your device, and if its an OMU, proceed towards step two, where you setup your brand new Ovi Music Unlimited account.

Once you do that, you’ll be automatically signed in and have instant access to a library of close to 4 million tracks on the Ovi Music Store India, for a year. You’ll notice that the Ovi Music Unlimited activation icon that was previously on the left, now does not appear for you.

From that point on, you can download as many songs as you want. And dont worry if you mistakenly delete a song, you have 3 years to re-download it and it’s all yours to keep!

If you click on the “My Music” tab, you’ll see the content you have downloaded so far.

This includes every single track you’ve downloaded and saved on your PC. You can also transfer all your tracks to your OMU music device and carry them around with you, whereever, to listen to, whenever.

Hopefully at the end of this exercise, and provided you have a decent enough internet connection, your Nokia X6 should be on it’s way towards unlimited Music from Ovi. I know mine is !

He was popularly called as Gurudev and his songs were and still popularly known as Rabindrasangeet. Two songs from his Rabindrasangit are now the national anthems of India and Bangladesh: the Jana Gana Mana (India’s National Anthem) and the Amar Shonar Bangla (Bangladesh’s National Anthem).

A prospective barrister, Tagore enrolled at a public school in Brighton, East Sussex, England in 1878. He read law at University College London, but left school to explore Shakespeare and more.

When Tagore was small, he was mostly raised by servants, as his mother had died in his early childhood and his father travelled extensively. Tagore largely declined classroom schooling, preferring to roam the mansion or nearby idyll. Upon his sacred thread ceremony initiation at age eleven, Tagore left Kolkata on 14 February 1873 to tour India with his father for several months.

In 1901, Tagore moved to Santiniketan to found an ashram which grew to include a marble-floored prayer hall, an experimental school, groves of trees, gardens, and a library. By now, his work was gaining him a large following among Bengali and foreign readers alike, and he published such works as Naivedya (1901) and Kheya (1906) while translating his poems into free verse.

In one of the very famous interviews by Dadamuni (Kishore Kumar’s elder brother, Ashok Kumar), he was quoted saying that Kishore never had any formal classical training in music. In fact his family members joked at him whenever he tried to modulate his voice, because of his coarse grating voice. When he was young, once he hurt himself badly and kept crying endlessly in pain. He used to cry in pain for almost 20 hours and that continued for a month. After that, a miracle happened.

Gradually the wound healed and one’s month’s crying practice, suddenly cleared his voice and it became melodious.

Thus was born, Abhas Kumar Ganguly’s new avataar popularly known as “Kishore kumar”. He was the second golden male voice that the film industry produced, the first being that of Kundan Lal Sehgal.

Kishore still lives and will always live. He worked with the best of playback singers in Bollywood, from Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Manna Dey to Mohd Rafi. He worked behind the scenes and became a success mantra for many of the actors including Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan.
