The Nokia Music Client makes it a breeze to transfer downloaded/your own tracks to your Nokia device, watch this video to see just how easy it is.

Once you start up Nokia Music, it asks you which country you currently reside in (so you can access the Music Store). You’re also asked if you want Nokia Music to be your default audio player, and if you’d like to scan your PC for Music to be added to your Music library in Nokia Music.

Once you choose your options, the app starts up and lists the music you have on your PC. If you dont have any music on your PC, or choose not to scan it for music, it will list the music on your device if you have a compatible Nokia device connected.

You can play back any music on your device, or on your PC from here. You can also run Nokia Music in “Mini Mode” by clicking the “Mini Mode” icon on the top right.

That’s basically it for the application itself. As you can see the Nokia Music application itself is very easy to use, and all functions are clearly marked by corresponding icons.

Coming to the Nokia Music Store, all you have to do is click on the Store Tab on the upper side of the Music app.

As you can see, the Music Store loads up with all its National and International Categories, New releases, top Charts, etc and even ordered playlists.

But before you can do anything in the Music Store (such as purchasing Music or checking out the Free Song of the week) you must create a Nokia Music India Account (if you dont already have one) and sign in with it first. You can do this by clicking the “Join Now” icon at the upper right side of the Nokia Music app.

Once you register yourself with the Nokia Music Store India, log into the service to experience all the fun.

Once you sign in, you’ll notice the  Music Store has re-loaded with new icons and banner that you have to click on to redeem your pin code (that you got with your Nokia Device).

Once you click on the banner, you’ll have to enter in your Pin code to redeem it.

Once you redeem your pin, it’ll tell you the number of tracks you can download. My Pin allowed me to download 20 music tracks, for example.

Now at the top of the Nokia Music App, you’ll notice it tells you how many tracks you have left to download with your redeemed PIN.

You’ll also notice a few symbols around the main page now. It’s best to familiarize yourself with these icons. One is for a 30 second clip preview of the song, next is the “Add to Wishlist” icon, and lastly the download and purchase icon.

Back on the home page, I’ve decided that I want to check out the new Shakira song “She Wolf“. So I clicked the download icon. It will immediately ask you “Are you sure you want to purchase this Track ?” so you wont ever click and download a song you didnt want by mistake.

Once the song has downloaded to your PC, Nokia Music might have to download Microsoft Digital Rights files for a one time installation so you can play your legally purchased music.

Once that downloads and installs, you can play back your Music from the Nokia Music Store as you normally would.

After this, you can also go back to the Store and purchase more music at any time. I also happened to download the new Katy Perry Song “Waking up in Vegas“.

You can view all your purchased Music on your PC by clicking the “My Music” tab at any time.

You can also transfer your Purchased Music to one Mobile Device, or Burn it to CD once.

In the End, Nokia Music is a very neatly arranged application that makes using the Nokia Music Store a piece of cake. If you use the Nokia Music Store very often, we definitely recommend you try out the Nokia Music application for PC.
